Rachel's Sick Weekend marathon

10 movies checked out from library (have to pass the time somehow)
1 box Lipton Green tea with lemon
1 Box Lipton Bavarian Berry tea
1 box of tissues
1 trusty bottle of Eurcerin
1 box Sudefed PE
1/2 box Tylonal cold
4 cans litons chicken soup (awesome with a bit of Tapatio sauce)
1 box of old cds organized
3 art bin drawers organized
tons of music on my iTunes now categorized and all info placed

Whats this list, all the ingredients for my sick weekend. Well, I did get new tea amd homeopathic medicine at Henrys which worked wonders after the boxes of crappy medicine didn't.
I was lucky enough to catch a vicious sinus cold this past week. On Wednesday morning I felt awful and was going to call into work, but there was so many things that needed to be wrapped up that day that I roughed out that day and made plans to be sick on thurs. And man was I sick.
Being home sick when you live by yourself isn't as good as when your with a roomate or back with the folks. There's no one who you can whine to and get you some medicine or chicken soup. And what is there to keep you entertained?
I have never had such a bad sinus cold. There was so much pressure, and what was weirdest was that it made my throat dry even though I could halfway breath through my nose, sometimes. But I thought I'd provide a review of all the tons of movies I watched. Ive never seen so many movies in such a short time.

- Cecil B. Demented - just above awful
- Gossford Park - really boring and slow moving, barely anything happened.
- Sex in the City season 4, first 6 episodes. I've seen all these but I have been trying to find this episode that I saw that I realy like, and have made it throught the first 4 seasona dn not found it.
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - This is the last harry potter book I have read, and have finally seen all the movies for what Ive read now. There is so much in this book that isn't covered in the movie, that ties a lot in with the whole plot and the events of things. So muich information is missing. Thank goodness I read the books before I saw the movies becuase the movie doesn't cover half of what happend.
- Breakfast with Hunter - probably the best movie out of this bunch. Found some good quotes and interesting articles I want to look up from Hunter.
- Boys Don't Cry - I've been wanting to see this movie, can't imagine what this girl went through. tragic.
- Nacho Libra - Pretty good, Jack white wasn'this typical singing obnioxious character, and the story was at least entertaining.
- Cry Baby - I had to get this one just to catch up on my Johnny Depp musicals. t was pretty kitchy, and some parts totally sterotypical, but worth a laugh at least. What was going on with movies in the 80's?
- Godfather II - I read the book godfather, and half of this movie is still covered in the first book. Although I botched it and watched the second half of this movie before the first half, oops. I wondered why it was so short, then realized, oh, theres a second disc in here. The movie doesn't dothe book any justice, theres so much thats not coverd in the movie that ties it all together.
- Tuesdays with Morrie - I read this book years ago and it turned out to be a real tear jerker. I've also seen the movie before, but wanted a nice pick me up. Im glad this time I didn't ball like I the first time.
- Lives of Others - this was a movie I got from netflix and was a good movie. It was about the state security in Berlin before the wall fell. I would definatly positivly recommend this.

I also read about half of The Golden Compass. It is really moving along. It was kind of slow in the beginning but its getting good.

I recently read in the latest rolling stone that Justin Timberlake has been cast along side Jeff Bridges (the Big Labowski actor) in 'On the Road'. Now, I hope that isn't the Kerouac book, with timberlake as dean?! NOWAY! I can see Jeff Bridges as Jack, seeing how the dude abides, definatly Now they did say that it was a romantic comedy, so maybe its not the Kerouac book, but what else could gain the title as 'On The Road'?

well, thats enough for now. blah blah blah blah blah.

Rachel, you are awesome. I would have come down to take care of you but I would have to bring the kids, and they just got over being sick. I don't want to got through that again.

I hope that you feel better. Also I agree with you on Harry potter, that is how the next movie is too. They do ok with it but so much is missing. After we watch the movies salem always asks me what is going on, because it doesnt make sense.
Love you
